Our youth musical this year starts with John, telling his story as it is written, in the final book of the Bible. He invites us to go on a journey, along with the fellowship of the Seven: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.  Each of the Seven represent the natural heart of humanity, which isn’t pretty: lacking in love, persecuted, easily misled, complacent, weak, proud, and easily enticed. The Seven accept the invitation to travel to the Celestial City, but of course not without the protection of God and His angels. They begin their journey spiritually blinded by their own sins and selfishness. As they travel, they share a little about themselves with each other and discover that how they spend their time, as well as their attitude towards others, is not what God intends it to be. The angels try to teach the Seven that God wants them to open their hearts and minds to His will. The Seven discover that this requires faith and openness, something they aren’t immediately willing to give. The angels introduce them to the Armour of God and help them to see their true need for a Saviour. The Fellowship have the opportunity to use the armour as they journey through the difficult and dangerous places of this life that can discourage and distract us. Throughout their journey, they realize the power of Jesus to save and open their eyes to the glory of God, which they finally see when at last they arrive at the Celestial City.  Won’t you join us on this journey to find Jesus?

The musical is open to youth in Grades 3-12. Rehearsals will be on Fridays from 5:30-8PM, starting on Fri., Jan 12. Pizza will be provided for supper from 5:30-6PM with a peanut free snack and drinks later in the evening. There is no cost!

This program located on the lower level, is created with children in senior kindergarten through fifth grades in mind. From arrival to departure, children experience fun and fellowship as they worship Jesus. Kingdom Kids provides a safe and loving environment for children to worship and meet new friends. Through worship and Bible study, children learn how to have an awesome relationship with Jesus and how to live for Him each day.

The Children’s Ministry also offers many fun events throughout the year to strengthen a child’s walk with Christ, enjoy fellowship with others, and build strong family relationships.

Children’s Bible study combines powerful and understandable Biblical principles in a fun atmosphere by using games and creative learning activities. We invite you to join us Sunday morning for an exciting worship adventure.
City Centre offers nursery (0-18 months), toddler (18 months to 24 months) and Preschool-JK (3 & 4 years) care during both worship services on Sunday morning.

Our Vacation Bible School was on July 17-21. The theme of our VBS this year was MAKER FUN FACTORY! Imagine a world where curious kids become hands-on inventors who discover they’re lovingly crafted by God! The children won’t just hear about God’s love; they will see it, touch it, sing it, taste it, and put it into action through God Sightings. As in the past, kids will learn one important Bible Point each day, which will be reinforced often through Bible adventures, key Bible verses, songs and snacks, and hands-on explorations that help children know they were created by God and built for a purpose!  As they travel from station to station, they will go deeper into their understanding of God and God’s Son, Jesus. Most importantly, children will learn that because Jesus loves us, He came to die for our sins and make a way for us to live with God forever. Stay tuned here to hear about our next VBS in 2018.
