Our desire is to EQUIPbelievers for service and dynamic living of the Christian life.
When a church is zoned in on its mission, the teaching that Jesus asked us to do in the Great Commission is very evident. A church must lead others to freely engage in the positive experience of the discovery of truth and obedience to that truth. The educational component of church ought not to be neglected or the foundations will crumble due to ignorance of revealed truth.
This learning process involves knowledge of God’s revelation and it also includes motivation to live out appropriate responses in life with a commitment to follow Jesus Christ as Lord. And when one follows Jesus they necessarily are compelled to encourage others to do the same.
Most individuals want to be characterized by a life of progress. They just need to feel and see true progress. False opportunities that promise but never deliver true progress abound. As the gospel becomes real in people who are committed to change, there is a sense of satisfaction and wholeness that grows in each one.
